Hello to you and warm welcome,
My Spirit has adopted 4000 French children who were murdered.

They never had a chance to experience joys of childhood: being in a play, singing, dancing, taking simple photos of their kitten or puppy, making music, painting, sculpting, writing stories or celebrating birthdays with their friends.

The Blue Cornflower Project - Le Project Bleuet Bleu
is an international art exhibit I created September 1, 2023 in Paris, France and will continue throughout the world with various venues and major celebration with our first physical SOLO Gallery Exhibition hosted by our “Man of the Hour”, gallery owner and curator of this project in Bulgaria, GEORGI KOLEV of LESSEDRA GALLERY in Sofia, Bulgaria with Show Dates of May, 2025.

I chose Bulgaria as the geographical location to host these varied works for one simple reason. Of all the countries I researched while writing my books on the Holocaust, I personally found the Bulgarians to be the most supportive of the Jews. Just as I find them to be wonderful ambassadors of world peace the way they have stepped up to help the many who are suffering in the Ukraine.

I explain this to you for informative purposes, this exhibit is not about politics it is about celebrating the lives of these children.

The purpose of this project is to tell the world about them, celebrate their names, celebrate their short lives and their magnificent loss.

It is also time for us to paint a clear picture: we will tolerate this no longer. We shall have peace on earth and we are doing our part.

We have chosen the blue cornflower to help deliver our message and we plan to plant these flowers everywhere - covering OUR earth with blue - to continue OUR message for many years to come.

Thank you ~ for taking the time to read this.

Sincerely,
Chloe
-----------

4000 Jewish children were arrested in Paris 16 July 1942, they were bussed to The Vélodrome d'Hiver - an indoor bicycle racing cycle track and stadium (velodrome) on rue Nélaton, not far from the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Here, they were processed and bussed to a holding center in Drancy, a town just outside of Paris and then were shipped to POLAND and to their death in Auschwitz.

GEORGI KOLEV of LESSEDRA GALLERY,  our "Man of the Hour", is hosting this powerful exhibit in Sofia, Bulgaria, May, 2025
